The wonderful world of serial communications.

A particular project I am working on requires me to listen in on the serial communications between two computers. This means I have to get a little more familiar with the
RS-232 protocol.

I also found Listen32, a nifty tools to do just what I need to have done.

Freeware Hex Editor XVI32

Islam and prisoners of war

I have never read the Quran, but I had heard from people who did that the Islam teachings state that Islamic captors should not harm their prisoners. This article from the Kashmir Herald, a Hindu newspaper, may be biased against Islam but it seems that the references the author uses are authentic and carry at least some authority in the matter.

Islam and prisoners of war

We live in difficult times.

First post

Today I found the link in Google to this Blogger service. I have been interested in a personal weblog ever since a friend of mine started one himself. I'm not a computer-wiz like him so I never understood how to do one myself. This Blogger service seems easy. I'll try to keep it interesting and organized.
